TONY DeSARE, the dazzling up-and-coming
singer/pianist, will make his much-anticipated New York nightclub debut with an exclusive
engagement at the legendary Café Carlyle
at the Carlyle
Hotel (35 East 76th Street
at Madison Avenue). He temporarily
replaces the usual slot of film icon Woody Allen for three weeks only. His
program Christmas In New York: An Evening of Swingin’
Holiday Standards
will showcase seasonal classics like “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town,” “Winter
Wonderland” and “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm,” as well as pop favorites.
The show, featuring Mike Lee on
bass and Brian
Czach on drums, will play six performances only: Mondays,
December 13, 20 and 27, with two shows each night at 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM.
